Hooves




Dear children,

We learnt about hooves in our big book, 'Whose hooves?'. Here are some interesting questions and answers about hooves:

Q) What are hooves of a horse made of?
A) Hooves are made of material similar to the human fingernail. However it is much thicker and much stronger.


Q) Why do cows have hooves?
A) Hooves are like shoes for them. They need a hard support for their feet as they walk on hard, muddy and rough surfaces.
