Cartoon - Mickey's Elephant
Dear children,
Below is a short Disney cartoon on how Mickey receives a baby elephant as a gift from the Rajah of Gahboon. However Pluto isn't quite sure what to make of it, especially when he begins to suspect that he is being replaced.

New Math website (Mini revision tests)
Dear children,
I have put up a new website at the resource webpage in the Math folder under 'Mini Revision Tests'. This new folder consists of websites which have short tests on the various topics that all of you have learnt so far. If a box pops up, just click on 'Continue as guest'. Click 'Submit' after you have finished each question.
Remember to use the Habits of Mind: 'Striving for Accuracy', 'Applying past knowledge into new situation' and 'Persisting' as you are doing the test questions.
The web link is also given here: http://www.ixl.com/math/grade/first/

The Singapore River
Dear children,
As we learn about rivers in the big book 'My River', below is a video clip of our famous Singapore River. Probably you can ask your parents to bring you to the Singapore River during one of the weekends.

The Remarkable Fidgety River
Dear children,
Here is a cartoon on how Doctor Snuggles is warning us that the Earth is running out of water. The distressed river is hiding and rolled up like a carpet. The Doctor discovers someone has been stealing big "blocks" of ocean water and sets out to find them back. There are 5 parts to this cartoon. Enjoy it!
